Biografia

Laurea in Ingegneria Elettronica. Dal ‘96 è in ruolo presso l’Università di Ferrara Autore di oltre 300 articoli scientifici con peer review. Relatore di 150 tesi di laurea, ha supervisionato 15 tesi di dottorato. Fellow dell’IEEE, per 9 anni è anche Associate Editor dell’Istituto e partecipa a 60 Technical Program Committees. È stato membro del Comitato Scientifico per il CNIT, il GARR, il Tecnopolo, il Piano Telematico della Regione Emilia-Romagna, ASTER, il progetto Iperbole Wireless del Comune di Bologna, la Fondazione Guglielmo Marconi. È stato Direttore Generale di Lepida SpA, divenuta Lepida ScpA nel 2019. Dal 2019 è membro del Consiglio di Amministrazione della Fondazione Guglielmo Marconi. Dal 2023 Membro del Consiglio Scientifico di VSIX e del board della Marconi Society.

Bio

Degree in Electronic Engineering. He has held a tenured position at the University of Ferrara since 1996. He has authored over 300 peer-reviewed scientific articles. He has supervised 150 graduate theses and 15 doctoral theses. A Fellow of the IEEE, he has also served as an Associate Editor of the Institute for 9 years and participates in 60 Technical Program Committees. He has been a member of the Scientific Committees for CNIT, GARR, Tecnopolo, the Emilia-Romagna Region Telematics Plan, ASTER, the Iperbole Wireless project of the Municipality of Bologna, and the Guglielmo Marconi Foundation. He was General Manager of Lepida SpA, which became Lepida ScpA in 2019. Since 2019, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Guglielmo Marconi Foundation. Since 2023, he has been a member of the Scientific Council of VSIX and the board of the Marconi Society.
