The GARR Conference is the event where experiences are shared on the use of infrastructures and digital services by those who use the GARR network and those who actively contribute to its development and service improvement.

What will we be talking about?

This year’s edition is titled “The Shape of Change: Between Digital Ethics and Shared Roots”.

The conference offers a reflection on the ongoing transformation in digital technologies and knowledge infrastructures, placing at its core the relationship between between digital autonomy, AI ethics and law, system resilience, sustainability, historical memory and new scientific frontiers.

A dialogue between future and roots, between technological innovation and the role of the scientific community, in a context marked by profound social, economic and geopolitical transformations.

Followed by an aperitif at the Loggiato of the Opera della Primaziale Pisana

We invite you to enjoy a pleasant experience discovering Piazza dei Miracoli, one of the most admired monumental complexes in the world. Together, we will explore this remarkable site, admiring at close range universally renowned landmarks such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Pisa Cathedral and the Baptistery, while being guided through their history, art and fascinating details.

At the end of the visit, we will move to the Loggiato of the Opera della Primaziale, where an aperitif will be offered in a pleasant and evocative setting, providing an ideal opportunity to conclude the experience in an informal atmosphere among conference participants.
