Megatrends che ridefiniscono l’identità digitale: security, agentic AI e wallet
L'identità digitale sta attraversando una profonda trasformazione, plasmata da diversi megatrend sovrapposti che stanno ridefinendo il modo in cui individui, aziende e istituzioni operano nel mondo digitale. Focalizzandosi su tre megatrend – la crescente pressione per la sicurezza dell'identità digitale data la presenza di minacce sempre più sofisticate; l'emergere di ecosistemi di agenti AI, che sfumano i confini tradizionali di fiducia e responsabilità; e l’introduzione di digital identity wallet come nuovi hub, che riposizionano l'identità come strumento trasversale e user-centric – la presentazione esplora come stia cambiando l'identità digitale e l'impatto sul settore dell'istruzione.

Giorgia Dragoni graduated in Management Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 2014 and began working in the Digital Innovation Observatory that same year, focusing on digital transformation and cybersecurity. She is currently a researcher on Cybersecurity & Data Protection, and Director of the Digital Identity Observatory (since 2020) and the Digital & Sustainable Observatory (since 2023). In 2022, she earned an Executive Master in Management from the Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Management. She is a member of the Scientific Committee of Clusit, the Italian association for cybersecurity, and of Women for Security.

Megatrends reshaping digital identity: security, agentic AI and wallet
Digital identity is undergoing a profound transformation, shaped by several overlapping megatrends that are redefining how individuals, companies, and institutions operate in the digital world. Focusing on three of them – the rising pressure on identity security from increasingly sophisticated threats; the emergence of agentic AI ecosystems, blurring traditional boundaries of trust and accountability; and the rise of identity wallets as new platform hubs, repositioning identity into a user-centric, interoperable layer – the presentation explores how digital identity is changing and its impact on the education sector.
